Mammon would never admit it, but he just melts whenever MC crawls into his bed while he's asleep. Sometimes he wakes up when they do, sometimes he just finds them snuggled up when he wakes up, but each time it makes him so damn happy.

Because what do you mean his favourite human *chose* him? Over his brothers??! It makes him feel so needed for once in his life, that he has to hold back how emotional it makes him. He has to snuggle up against MC in a way that hides his face, so he doesn't show just how grateful he is for them.

He knows he was their first pact, but to be their first choice too, to be the one they go to for safety and comfort? Mammon can't fathom how he got so lucky.

Not only is Mammon more observant than he leads on, he's exceptionally attentive when it comes to his human.

This demon is going to take note of everything and store it away for later. Every smile, every flinch, every laugh, he is mentally noting it down. He's going to notice how MC shuffles closer and leans into him when they're uncomfortable, and make up some excuse to get them somewhere safer. He's going to suggest they go back to that restaurant with the ice cream that made them happy-dance in their chair. He's watching them at dinner when they have their arms crossed, quieter than usual, and already buying their favourite snacks to be delivered later and telling MC they have no choice but to watch movies with him later (it will of course be all MCs favourites). MC mentioned they liked one of Asmo's perfumes? He sees it in the store and is obviously grabbing it for them without a second thought.

Every negative reaction he notices, he's going to ensure they aren't around the person or situation that caused it. But he's greedy as ever for those smiles and laughs, and will do everything in his power to pull them from his human whenever he can. And he does this all so subtly and effortlessly - he's not seeking praise or attention, just simply wants them happy and comfortable. After all, it's his job as their First Man.

And if Mammon is ever lucky enough to get MC in bed? His attentiveness cannot be rivaled. He's greedy for every soft gasp, moan and little noise they make. He will take his sweet time learning every inch of their body when they first start sleeping together - their most sensitive spots that have them squirming, how to touch them to pull out the most delicious sounds, when they seem to want rougher or more gentle hands.

Every reaction turns into his own secret weapon, and he's not shy about his greed when it comes to MCs pleasure. No one knows his human better than he does, and it's going to show every single day without question.

Mammon is quick to forgive, but the second born never forgets. He loves his family above all, but his love for this human has grown too, somehow just as strongly. He'll do everything in his power to keep his brothers safe, happy, and together no matter how much they tease or talk down to him. However, he's still haunted by the night he held this fragile, broken human in his arms. Belphies maniacal laughter rings out over his racing heartbeat, the limp body no longer moving, the dark bruising around their throat was a horrific visual he doesn't think he could ever fully scrub away.

To keep his family together, he keeps the peace. He tells himself everything has worked out, and his human wants to repair the relationship between themselves and his youngest sibling. And he wants that for them too, genuinely. He couldn't imagine his life without either of them now. And yet, he holds his humans hand a little tighter when Belphagor is around. He finds himself always placed between them, no matter the occasion. He plays his part cool, but he always has his eye on one of them, just to make sure there's no threat or shred of discomfort. It's become a subconscious thing, too. And it never seems to go away, the small pit of anxiety he has whenever the two of them are in the same room.

Even years and years later, when the bond between his human and Belphie is long since mended and stronger than ever, Mammon will always remember.

Dad!Mammon has been on my brain lately. I don't want kids, ever. I don't even really like kids that much in general BUT

PICTURE IT

- This man can't say no. He's going to raise the most spoiled kid(s) in existence. And he'll work his ass off to make his children's dreams come true.

- But. Mammon's generosity will also rub off on the little one. Mammon loves to give, and he'll raise his kids to do the same.

- He is always present. He's showing up to school events, sports, throwing parties, playing every ridiculous game his babies want. It doesn't matter if it's his biological child or adopted, he shows up just as he always has with his brothers.

- With MCs help, he'd raise very accepting, emotionally intelligent children. Mammon's never hid his emotions well and his kids will know it's okay to cry or be scared, and they will love with everything they have just like their father.

- MC will often come home to Mammon playing dress up or fully immersed in whatever game/imaginary play his kids come up with. The living room is often turned into one big pillow fort.

- If his brothers ever have kids too you know he'd be the cool, fun uncle his nieces and nephews adore. He'd always be setting up play dates and reasons for the family to get together.

- No matter what, his love and attention to MC only grows. He's as attentive to his partner just as much, and will do anything he can to make their lives easier. He doesn't see parenting as 'babysitting', he takes care of his portion of chores without complaining, often even going above and beyond to make sure everyone he loves is taken care of. Mammon and MC are truly a loving team and it shows.

- And, if it's his biological child with MC, you know he's fawning over them all throughout the pregnancy. He gets so protective, and definitely cries at every ultrasound out of sheer happiness and excitement.

It catches the brothers completely off guard, watching in shock and slight terror as MC slams their hands on the table at breakfast. Anger is radiating off of them, aura full of the promise of violence if anyone pushed them further in a display that rivaled the Avatar of Wrath himself.

But MC had had it with their snide comments and condescending attitudes that Mammon just casually shrugged off like it was nothing. The day has barely begun and they were already dog piling on him, making themselves feel better at his expense.

Well MC wasn't having it. Seething, MC called out each and every remark they'd been making, ensuring each brother personally knew that they weren't always such a walk in the park either, reminding them just how much Mammon did for them all. They recounted every offhanded gift Mammon surprised them with, acting like it was no big deal and he got it by accident when he'd really worked hard and gone out of his way to obtain the gifts after hearing them mention something about it once. The human pointed out every time Mammon has covered for them even that week alone. Reminded them once more that Mammon was the only one there who had not threatened or harmed them in anyway, causing even Lucifer to at least have the decency to look ashamed.

Mammon sat there, slack jawed and in shock as MC tore them apart with sharp words. Calling them out for things he didn't think MC had even noticed, let alone cared about. A deep blush rose to his cheeks. He didn't need no human coming to his defense like this, it was embarrassing! Yet, he was feeling all choked up- having someone stick up for him like this, especially this human they were all so deeply infatuated with, warmed his demon heart immensely.

"...so if I hear even ONE more fucking condescending word out of any one of you about it, then I will personally see to it that I ascend your asses back the the Celestial Realm and drag your bloody bodies back there myself. Clear?!"

Stunned silence filled the room, but MC felt they had made their point. With a huff they shoved their chair back into the table and stormed right out the front door. No one said a word after they left, processing what they had all just witnessed and feeling rather guilt ridden. They had barely ever seen MC annoyed, let alone so enraged. If it were any other human, they would have left. But disappointing MC left a bad taste in their mouths, and they all mumbled small excuses while they sulked away.

No one mentions it again, but both Mammon and MC notice that attitudes have shifted slightly. No big apologies happened or outward shows of regret, but the subtle signs of appreciation were there. They also gave MC a wide birth for a while, not wanting to be on the receiving end of a lecture worse than Lucifers ever again. And Mammon never mentions it either, but he holds his human a little tighter the next time he sees them, thanking them for being the one to notice him, to have his back just as he's always had theirs.

(MC tells Diavolo about it, and it is all Diavolo and Barbatos talk about for days, wishing they had seen it themselves as they chuckle over tea.)

I have one. It's for satan. So in the game its stated that his tail kinda hurts to touch so I think id be cute if he uses a blanket and rubber bands to cover it so if he ends up turning into his demon form in his sleep if he staying with mc. Tyyy :D 💚

- Satan often pops into his devil form in his sleep. Things happen in his dreams that anger him, so it's a completely subconscious switch for him.

- He doesn't even think of it being an issue until you jokingly tease him about it one morning, likening his tail to sleeping with a mini porcupine with how pokey it is.

- He immediately feels bad for not having considered this. Sure it hasn't caused any damage yet, but what if he is tail were to lash out in his sleep like cat tails sometimes do? He would never forgive himself for even the smallest cut on you.

- He doesn't let on that he's stressing over it though, just goes about his day, brainstorming different ideas ranging from spells to stop himself from transforming, potions to soften his tail, or protective enchantments he could place on you.

- He is still researching and not getting far when he finally decides to call it a night. You're already asleep in his bed, so he signs and does the only thing he can think of. He finds scattered throw blanket and wraps it around his tail, securing it tightly with little bits of string and rubber bands he has laying around.

- he feels absolutely ridiculous doing it. His plan is to wake up before you and remove it before you or his brothers can see.

- Unfortunately for him, it rarely works out that way in this house. Everyone is woken up by Mammon running and hiding from a very angry Lucifer. You have become all the brothers favorite shields against their eldest brother, so Mammon dives into Satans room to seek refuge. And even more unfortunate for Satan, this draws a crowd of the rest of his brothers who just want to watch the drama unfold.

- Satan is yelling at everyone to leave, momentarily forgetting his new fashion accessory. Asmo of course notices right away, pointing it out and questioning him. Was he hurt? What's the point of it.

- He's trying to play it cool, but the boy is bashful. His cheeks bright red as he avoids everyone's eyes, stating it's none of their business. This is when you realize it's for your benefit, and nearly melt right on the spot.

- You come to his rescue, explaining that you jokingly rolled his tail up cause it was pokey. He was clearly embarrassed, and you felt the need to speak up.

- The brothers all went to tease you both some more over it, when Satan threatened that the next person to make a remark would find his tail wrapped around their ankles as he dragged them through the Devildom.

- When you were finally alone again, you told him just how much you appreciated it, and thanked him for his thoughtfulness with all the kisses.

- No one bothered you both again after that and it became a nightly thing for you to help him wrap his tail before bed. He's much less embarrassed about it now, and he's just happy his human is more comfortable.
