‘HC’ + fear

James has a fear of both grasshoppers and wasps. There’s no rhyme or reason behind it; he never had a traumatic encounter with either species, nor was he ever told a story or shown a film that portrayed them in a particularly terrifying way. When he sees something just a little out of place, it will bug him to no end until he has managed to fix it.

Toby is at his happiest when spending time with one person. He prefers to spend time alone with people as not only does it make him feel as if they want to spend time with him, but it also helps him get to know the person in a way that others may not, as people tend to open up more when they are away from larger groups. That being said, he enjoys spending time with all of his friends, and would not pick one over another unless there was a good enough reason.

Parchment

Lily’s least favorite thing about parchment is the fact that it doesn’t have lines on it. Although she always makes sure to write in straight lines when working on essays, somehow her notes always end up at a slant with an extra triangle of space in the bottom right corner. This problem is particularly evident in her potions notes, where her frustration with the class makes the slant even worse, much to her annoyance. She usually ends up filling that corner with doodles to make it look more intentional, but her mild perfectionist streak rises up whenever she returns to her notes for revision.

The very first thought that popped into Lavinia’s mind upon meeting Arista was. “How does she not fall over?” In regards to her ample chest, something that Lavinia finds a point of jealousy over given that she has always been someone to want just a little more for her own body.

Arista Vane was approachable – and though that’s a bit of an odd thing to say, it was the simple truth. Sofia didn’t know her all too well, but the one thing she knew was that she wasn’t an irritation – she was fun and easy to talk too. Easing into a conversation with her and simply talking was natural and Sofia enjoyed it. Enjoyed it enough that she wouldn’t mind getting to know her. She wasn’t one to befriend people all too quickly but she had a good feeling about this one –
