Spending the night at Ciel's house; an event that hadn't occured ever since everything had happened with Auntie Rachel and Uncle Vincent.

When the invitation had arrived the prior week for Elizabeth, the girl felt as if she were about to faint at any moment. And when reassured she wasn't about to faint, then she burst into tears. Literal tears.

So pleased had she been that on the day she had arrived to spend such a night, the lady had made sure she did everything in her power to do things with her precious betrothed so that she could have him stay up with her as long as possible. But, unfortunately for her, Elizabeth had fallen asleep on the couch before midnight even dared strike.

And that's where she currently resided at the moment, with blankets drawn up to her chin and with legs tucked underneath her. It was a surprise how deep in sleep the lady was, for she hadn't even woken when Ciel had come to join her once more. Nor did she even wake when his lips came to be pressed upon hers.

No; the only reaction the Earl would get from the sleeping beauty would be the smallest crinkles to her nose, followed by a sleepy smile crossing her sleeping features, as she tightened the grip on the blanket and continued to sleep once more.

A question like this never should have been asked in the first place. Had Ciel truly not known that Elizabeth, most indeed, loved him more than anything in this world?

It appeared that he hadn't, or else he wouldn't be asking her something like that. That was why she needed to tell him nor, or she may never get the opportunity to do so again.
