  I think I would like to learn to do acrylic pour painting, also known as fluid painting or liquid painting. I don’t know who invented the idea; I think there has been some form or another of this concept for a long time (not sure how long) and I think it’s beautiful.

My 'Art life' so far...

So I'm an artist, I have been for as long as I can remember. I scored my first commission when I was 15 designing a Logo for a T-shirt company a friend was setting up, in return I asked for merchandise, and recognition if anyone asked who designed it. (Silly me) - that company is now rather well known and gets an awful lot of money off of my design, no credit was ever given to me, and my merchandise now sits in a dusty pile in my cupboard... Still lesson learnt. It was a very hard lesson indeed, in fact it turned me off of working for people for a very long time. The next commission I received was an album cover, (how cool is that?!) After my last commission I was feeling pretty bitter, but the client reassured me that he will pay and that once he printed the album I could not only have my name in the cover for designing it, but also receive 5% of sales revenue. Amazing deal my now 16 year old brain thought. I went to work straight away. If anyone follows me they will know that as I go I photograph my progress, sometimes even photograph how I was feeling at the time. I try to record my progress and keep my clients as up to date as possible. (Sometimes to the point of spamming them... Tip! Don't do that...) I now know to make colleagues of my pictures and just upload those instead lol. Again hard lessons to learn. Anyway, as I was in the process of drawing this I kept the guy informed, and sent rough sketches, asking about placement, composition, colour - the usual. I always ask before I start doing the final copy, as I have no idea how many times I would get half way through something and them tell me they didn't like it that way. - as I'm on this topic... Always ask your clients, keep a very open dialog with them. Don't be offended if they do change things, or ask for different stuff along the way. It is more frustrating when the piece is almost finished, but that's why its better to keep asking! Keep sending those pictures and making sure! Anyway this darn album cover! It was an awesome concept the guy wanted... I drew and drew until I have the best draft I could muster up, one last time I would ask him before finally getting underway putting it on canvas and painting it.... I sent my picture through and waited eagerly to hear back from him, I waited....and waited.... And waited some more. Almost a week went by and still no reply? He had read my message, Facebook told me he'd seen it at least? But why no reply? I sent him another message, this time no messing around I asked him straight out. 'Why no reply? You don't like it, that's OK... But if you do we need to talk.' ....Nothing... Weeks later I gave up, moved on with life and guessed he just hated my idea - until I spotted it... My design, my art work... Finished?! What? Turns out the guy had gotten another one of his friends to colour in my line work on Photoshop - and paid his friend a 6 pack of beer for a job well done. Completely left me out of any credit, no payment was received and I was left feeling extremely heartbroken and angry. 2 years went past, I would occasionally give a painting or sketch away, but I refused to take any more commissions. I would draw for free for friends if they wanted something, by now a lot of the requests were tattoos. And I would draw for myself, for practise, for the fun of it... But never for a job, or a living. I saw no point in it at that time, I was still rather upset about my experiences in sales. When I had just turned 19 a friend of mine offered to buy a fair few pieces off me. I refused saying he could just have them for free. He refused, saying they were too good to go for free and if I wouldn't take money would I accept a tattoo instead... Consider it an art trade. I considered it, and a few months later I got my first and only tattoo. For a few years I lay low, getting off most social media and focusing on my family, my Mum who's been sick, and my boyfriend who I had met a week after I got my ink! :) I practised as much as I could, drawing every day but moving from paints into different mediums, inks, pens, pastels, charcoal... I found a new love for coloured pencils, I invested in a few different brands but fell completely in love with prismacolor. I experimented with solvents, and papers, all types of techniques and tricks some learnt from internet some from happy accidents. I posted my work online when I remembered, never really making it part of my routine. I always kept in my heart my passion for art and creation, always wanting to be an artist 'one day', but never actually realizing, I already was! I went back to the fundamentals, drawing almost everyday, filling sketchbook after sketchbook, sometimes producing awesome drawings, and sometimes making awful, awful stuff... But all of which are lessons. I even banned myself from using anything but black pen for one whole month! I ended up loving it and now often draw in black pen. Recently after much practise, and getting back into social media, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, you name it I probably now have an account. I recently received another commission request, this time from a friend in the States... I accepted, reluctantly, and started work on it, doing so many sketches, practising poses, colours, asking the client if they were happy, (they seem to be) I have gone back to my paint brush... After so long with other mediums I'm soooo pleased to be painting again AND not only that but after such along time away from my first love, i have noticed my skill level has increased so much! I can do things I never thought I could when I first started. Never give up, always work hard, you never know what will be around the corner, if this commission falls through this time, its no big deal, I will have an awesome piece I will be proud to sign my name on, experience money can't buy, and a cool story to tell, ad well as a piece to exhibit. :)

So um im reading volume 5 of the no.6 manga and I love how gay it is but I just had to make a little bit more gay so here you have rat "accidentally stumbling upon" shion in the shower and getting a little embarrassed
