“Ah... You saw all that? Well, don’t make a big deal out of it.”
Drake dismissively shook the wallet in her hand. Perhaps it would have been common courtesy to call out to the man who had dropped it. Perhaps it was immoral to pick it up and walk the other way. It didn’t really matter to her. If there was little satisfaction to be had in robbing people blind, it didn’t detract from the profit. Someone so careless with their money was going to be taken advantage of sooner or later, and it wasn’t like her to not seize an opportunity when it appeared.
“Forget about it, there’s no point in being self righteous about things that don’t concern you.” She tipped her hat slightly at the man in armor and began to turn away with a small wave of her hand, rifling through the wallet as she went.
