A follow-up to a comic I made about Maria's final words that did rather well on here. Reworking what Amy told Shadow on the ARK to help him remember Maria's wish.

I think somehow, in some future, Amy and Shadow would get along rather nicely.

Accidentally built a base in raptor territory, so I built a spiked barricade to keep them out. I stepped out of my house in the middle of the night to check the crops and immediately spotted a raptor right up against the wall staring into my soul like

I can't tame a tapejara to save my life,

I went exploring to find one or two, I've seen like four, but they all got away- One might've passed out after flying a bit away, but I couldn't find it.

I did, however, get four raptors, including a tek-

I finally have a male to complete my pack, so that's nice, at least. Plus I got a Meso/a monkey, which is,,,So cute? I love her-

If anyone has any tips on where to tame tapejara's/how to, on Valguero, please lmk, because I'm desperate-

Been busy in Ark the past weekend! Tamed a new otter AGAIN (the super low level starved to death when my trough ran out of fish...yeah...), and figured out it’s MUCH easier if I pick the otter up with my Argentavis. I went flying near the snow and spotted a level 145 Hyaenodon, and put together a neat little pen to avoid having to sneak around after it (which I am very very bad at).

The trickiest part was dropping it down the narrow chimney of walls, after that I just crouched by the open fence foundation side and pet away! To get that open bottom side, I placed a regular stone foundation there, snapped the stone walls to it, snapped the wood fence foundation into the stone foundation, then picked up the stone foundation. That way the hyaenodon won’t slip under the gap (I think. It worked for me!). 

The rewards of all my petting investment! I put her out to ‘guard’ the sheep. Good dog!

So our lovely server was downed by the initial Ark update, we haven’t been able to access it since. When the Halloween update went through it finally fixed the problem but we’d deleted all mods in the efforts to get it to work, and there was some serious clean-up required to restore the server to it’s formal glory.

When we were finally able to get back on, we had lost our precious Stargate, as well as the platforms, which luckily we were able to repair without any loss of animal life! Bluzy had to work very fast to stop all our tames falling from the trees and tumbling down into the cesspit of danger that makes up the redwood floor. They were all whistled passive at the time too

It was a deeply frustrating series of events, but we’re finally back on the game and working towards restoring our tribe and our map.

In fact, we are laying down all our spawners again right now!

Ark Adventure Update: Scorched Earth

I recently got Scorched Earth, and Aberration from the PS4 sale, so I've been half binge playing Ark-

On Scorched Earth, I almost died like

I wasn't prepared at all, but luckily spawned by one of those wstering holes.

My first tame was a vulture, who quickly became one of my favorite creature on Ark. His name is Corps, and he's nearly all black.

I wondered around for awhile, had to escape from a lot of rock golems because I'm an idiot.

But eventually, I found a lone, level 1 raptor, which I easily shot down and tamed up- Her name is BlackLight, and, you guessed it, she's this dark purple/black color. It took awhile of making her attack parasaurs, or another passive dinos before I started travelling again, as I didn't want her to die.

Exploring was actually semi easy, and I got to the blue beacon thing, deciding to settle down there- Not many enemies, there's water and trees.

Correction, I thought there weren't many enemies. On my way back from taming two Karpos to make my water look a bit lively, I ran a poison wyvern, which killed me.

It took forever to get back, but luckily my two babies were okay, and it'd flown a bit away. In my travels, I tamed a micro raptor, affectionately named Mini.

We all managed to get back to base easily, and I got a saber, plus a thorny dragon.

Ark Adventures part 2

× Nano, our tek, disappeared. It doesn't say he's dead. I've checked the logs-

× Sand Dollar died. She's still around for some reason?? Screenshot below. She's the parasaur in the background.

× Making a breeding hut to keep track of babies.

× Got two Phiomia's. They're gonna be my breeding pair.

× Git a pegomastax!! Her name is CandyCorn, and she's orange and white, with purple paws.

× Also got a pteranodon, named Neon. She's so brightly colored it kinda hurts-
