So I’ve been getting absolutely slammed with bad luck ever since my birthday. Among other things one of the shittiest things has been my computer attempting to off herself twice.

First a simple restart somehow fried my main hard drive (the one Windows was installed on), like all I did was power cycle my puter cuz she was running a little slow after playing a game and then boom, girly rebooted at an absolute snail’s pace and none of my programs could load on startup.

So my brother and I take ol Bessie apart, rip that old hard drive out and I’m left with the reality that all I can do atm is format my second hard drive and make it my main hard drive, which cuts my storage space in half. But I wasn’t super worried about that, at least I’d still have a working puter, right? …….right?

Literally as I’m going through the process of setting up Windows my puter has to reboot and when it comes back on… suddenly I have no video. We messed around with it for a bit and came to the conclusion that somehow in the 15 seconds it took to reboot my video card had now shat the bed. Like it just stopped outputting video for seemingly no reason. So now I’m chilling with an old GTX 1070 until I’m able to get a replacement (which considering the price of GPUs atm isn’t gonna be for a good while lol…)

The only good part of this situation: I used to have a lot of issues with certain games/mods not working properly and the only explanation I could find was that my previous card was an AMD card which doesn’t play well with Nvidia shaders. I’ve also often wondered if my GPU might have been why the colours always looked so odd on my monitor. Switching back to an Nvidia card has so far seemingly proven that theory as not only do colours look a lot nicer but I’ve tested some FNF mods which wouldn’t work for me previously that now do and when I was playing SA2 last night I’m ngl it almost looked better than it did with my old card…

Elaborating on this a lil for brain choosing these

Idk why but brain associates Pico with birds, and rito are always shown with a proficiency in bows so maybe him weilding bows instead of guns, also am thinking of the botw/totk version of rito

For Darnell gorons are usually associated with fire and stuff which infeel is fitting and also since theyre miners i like the idea of him making his own paint out of gems and stones hes dug up himself

And for Nene i associate her with aquatic stuff kinda cause of her canon love of seals, and also I remember in botw (idk if the npc is still there in totk I dont have as much time in thats as I do botw *cough cpugh* 900+ hours *cough cough*) there was a pink zora in zora's domain and I like to think of her as like a pink zora:3
