Whenever someone comments smth on my art about how i draw hair/how it always looks so fluffy i ALWAYS think back to something I was told when i was a teenager.

Something about how artists tend to draw things in a way that they want to look like/be. If you find a certain look or style beautiful, you're more likely to draw in a way that represents that style.

However, artists also tend to draw what they know best, themselves. Who you are, how you look, what you see in the mirror constantly also influences how you art looks.

Now, I fucking love curly/wavy and wild hair. I love the look of messy hair, bedhead, fresh-off-the-rollercoaster type hair.

My hair, incidentally, looks like this:

This is less than 24 hours after washing it, and no product. (I cant stand the feeling of having gel or spray in my hair)

I love fluffy hair, i HAVE fluffy hair. So i always draw fluffy hair, whether I like it or not.
