idk how many strategies you've tried to stop or reduce how much you pick, but some things i like to do is cut my nails so they're not long enough to pick at my skin with, put plasters over areas ive picked so im not as tempted to pick again pulling off plasters hurts and it gives the area a chance to heal normally and this might sound a little silly but if you're just at home not doing anything, wrapping your arms in like cling film so you cant pick at your arms or wherever, also spinner rings

I’ve never have long nails cause i always bite them down, haha. i still manage to pick, and i bite my skin too :(

plasters do help and i use them sometimes, but id spend a fortune on plasters if i covered every mark every day, especially as my skin doesnt heal properly cause of my meds.

i pick my chest and face a lot more than my arms, but i’ve found wearing high-necked clothes and make-up helps a bit
