Technically it's not new per se. I've had the idea for a while in the back of my brain but never thought much about it. Recently I've been writing and planning out my main story (scarecrow hat) but it's been a lil bit overwhelming and I haven't had much practice in story writing before, so I was kinda thinkin I should try to write something else less intimidating to get my mind off it, so here we are!
SO. NEW STORY IDEA EXPLANATION TIME. So I haven't really had much experience with medieval stories at all ahdgdjeke. This one is medieval, and it's so fun eek. So far, what I've got planned out is basically this:
There's this prophecy, which states that four horsemen would come into the kingdom after the king and queen die, and the young one of sixteen years would be left to rule and save the kingdom from death and famine (which is caused by the horsemen, look it up). I still need to figure out a bit more abt the prophecy akdhxbdn. The one "left to rule" would be Arkin Evander. After his mother and father both die when he is sixteen, he is the one everyone thinks will save the kingdom.
I'm still currently figuring out more about the plot ack ack, but here's some solid character and worldbuilding stuffs
Ahh, this kingdom is somewhat smol, and since a war from years ago with this kingdom and another, a lot of gaelic (not exactly gaelic but somethin like that) people live there too since they signed a treaty.
ARKIN, ofc, he's the prince. He is stressed boy 24/7 oh no. Dark not quite black hair, hazel eyes, very noble and polite, not very humorous since parents death ): can be somewhat quiet, but only his sister knows he never shuts up,
AMARIS, younger sis of de prince. 15 yrs old, black hair, green eyes, arkin always feels the need to protect her, but she always says she's okay because she's only a year younger. Observant, kind, forgiving, hard working,
(Okay, this is taking a while, so I'll just give you brief descriptions of the others)
DANE, blond hair, he's in love with this girl who everyone says is dangerous, but he doesn't believe it in the slightest and if people try to do somethin to her it doesn't always end too great, 19 yrs old
DÁIRE, gaelic man who is not quite good with the law and experienced with experiences (help), perhaps a bit of a mentor type person, greyish black hair
LAOISE, gaelic daughter of a knight, blonde hair, 10-11 years old, ALWAYS has a plan, knows how to swordfight, loves animals a lot,
IRIS, BIG WHITE DOG WOLF ANIMAL (I love this doggie so much heehee, she's adorable)
The current title is The Untold Surmise, I'm not sure if it'll stick, but that's what it is for now. Hope you like hehe
