Seeing Pyrrha drop the gifts, Amber would use her Maiden powers to create a small gust to keep the doughnut and hot chocolate from dropping, though it did take a bit of fiddling to get all the warm drink back in the cup, finally, caught them.

“Anyway,” She said to distract from the brief show she just gave, “I supposed you wonder why I am here or how I was able to survive, I came to answer that because I need to inform you of what’s going to become of me should we ever get back to normal.”

Perhaps there were other reasons why Amber had come this far, despite the concerns of her safety by Ozpin’s group, but she didn’t want to be stuck a bed healing from everything, she had effectively slept a long time during her coma.
