Freaking Freljordian Fjords...

Travel was never an assured thing, so Yi found himself often taken by surprise.
Freljordian pathways from settlements to settlements were few and far between, making travel in the lands equal parts interesting as it could be precarious. In order to reach his next destination, Yi found himself well out of the way of people and civilization, hiking up craggy cliff faces coated with ice and through the falling of snow. The next hospitable location, he had been told, lay just on the other side of a great chasm.
... A great chasm that had only one known crossing that wasn’t out of the way for Yi; yet when the Ionian finally reached the place where a well trodden path would have taken him off the cliff’s edge there was no safe crossing in sight.
The bridge of wood looked to be on its last legs, with missing supports and great gaps in its slatted wooden flooring. Anything still standing seemed rotted without any hope for holding any weight. A second rope crossing appeared to be tethered beside... or so it once might have been. As Yi examined the scene closer he could clearly see severed rope and a sad bridge hanging down the opposite chasm side.
Too long to jump, perhaps too long to levitate, and just too long to comfortably Wuju strike across the gap, Yi stood in the cold for a time and considered his options. Few came, and it was only when the distant trudge of someone, or something, caught his ears that he got any ideas at all.
“If anyone is heading up this way,” He called down the chasm side, “I could certainly use another pair of eyes or a mind. The situation does not look so good up here, just to warn you...”
