Hey Maxine, I'm having a hard time feeling motivated to run. It's not that I'm sitting around doing nothing, I still keep up with strength training and I've made alot of strides in that area. I just feel too tired after work and with all the time I've been spending lifting I feel like I don't have any motivation for running. I still want to keep getting stronger, but i don't want to slack on my missions. Any tips for an unmotivated runner? Or any suggestions for running and lifting concurrently?
Have you tried running in a different area? Changing the route up a bit? A different radio station? If it’s becoming too mundane, that may be what’s causing your motivation to fall. Perhaps the workout itself is the problem, you could run at a different intensity [or even ride your bike, mod does sometimes - especially when the weather is very nice].
