So today I had lunch with a very nice older lady at work (she's in her 70's) and I was telling her a bit about my stories (and that since I became homeless, I've barely been able to write). I ended up showing her a few moodboards people had made for my fics--and her favorite was this one for She Wore Gardenias In Her Hair...
Her eyes went very wide, and she gave a low, appreciate whistle, and then said:
What a hunk!
Proving that Strangebatch has an ageless appeal 🥰🥰
(just ran across this excerpt from a future chapter of one of my WIPs; it actually makes me feel somewhat better about my writing & makes me want to share it too)
She Wore Gardenias In Her Hair
a Stephen Strange x Female Reader Wedding Fic
(excerpt is from Stephen’s pov)
‘No veil for this breathtaking, blushing bride’ he had thought, covering his heart with his right hand as he took in the sight of you. Instead of silk tulle, delicate lace or formal organza, you wore two pure white gardenias in your lush, dark hair, one behind each ear--and Stephen would retell the story of his first sight of his beautiful bride on their wedding day exactly so, in the many years to come, always adding, ‘It seemed only right for Nature’s beauty to adorn her. Nothing made by the mere hand of man or woman would have suited her more perfectly.’
work-in-progress: chapter one | chapter two | chapter three |
Pet Names (naughty one-shot)
Well, my darlings, I’m BAAAAAAACK! 💖
That is to say, I found My Muse, in rare and divine form, and a spark provided by @annesthaeticc has lit the flame (of our collaboration, in fact). I just spent the last twelve hours on and off writing the first chapter of a Strangebatch Wedding fic. 3,000 words, as yet unedited and incomplete, with notes for future chapters. And without further ado, here’s a taste (title is tentative for now):

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
aka
Stephen Strange Smorgasbord
with the What If Stephens as today's special for the same low, low price
have to say, She Wore Gardinia's In Her Hair is one of the most beautiful series I have ever read!
Thank you so much! 🥰I envisioned it to be drenched in romance. From the moment we got those first photos of Stephen dressed up for the wedding in MoM, I craved pure, unadulterated romance specifically for him (with honest, heady doses of smut that reflects the Couple's love and passion for one another). I wish I had more time to write so that I can more fully flesh out this vision!
Now I must shamelessly indulge myself and share pics of the beautiful couple...
*sighs hard* Aren't they just G O R G E O U S!
me, realizing that I'm probably going to need to see 'Multiverse of Madness' twice on opening day
It's beyond my ability to resist; I'm completely compelled by the latest photos of ArmaniStrange.
I just spent he last 45 minutes or so revisiting recent posts featuring our dashing, gorgeous doctor-wizard-daddy, who has become the subject of all my fantasies--in the hopes of summoning the inspiration to write the Strangebatch Romantic Wedding Day fic I’ve been craving since about 4am this morning. I think I found my way in--but as I’ve been saying a lot lately: Only Time Will Tell 🤍
Please, if you’re at all interested in the same, keep your fingers crossed for me? Thanks. xx
