Hey Mie! Have you seen that one tiktok where this girl asks her bf what the equivalent for flowers is for men and he was like “wdym?! I like flowers too?!!”. I was thinking if you brought flowers for Eren, Jean, or Armin-they’d be so touched and emotional🥺 flowers aren’t only for women-our best boys deserve to be spoiled too!

OH 🥺🥺 OH THEY WOULD LOVE THAT!! They would all be so genuinely happy about it, but I feel like Eren would be the most touched. I say this a lot but I feel like he gets taken back when you show him affection through gifts because he can hardly process the idea of you thinking about him like that—and flowers!! He probably wouldn’t ever think to equate himself with something so fragile and sweet :(( he would stutter just looking at them days after the fact.

Jean is obviously very flattered as well, and I think he would do the best job at trying to take care of them/keep them alive. Jean also seems like the type to get you flowers too; and he would probably make it a weekly thing or a rotational thing: if you get him flowers, he’ll pick some out for you the next day. He probably looks into the meanings of them too :((

Armin insists you don’t have to do that for him—but after the fact, he’s kind of... strangely proud to see the flowers in his room or on his table. He tells people about it very dreamily like, “You won’t believe what they got me—flowers! I never would have thought,” and he gets all doe-eyed and red in the face just looking at them.

He’s very sassy to me even in the show absjjddj he’s just not mean.... or loud. He gives me smart sassy kind of vibes. He insults people using smart terms that nobody understands but him. He’ll look at Eren doing some dumb shit he promised Armin he wasn’t going to do and sighs, “You look like you had one too many synapses pruned in your lifetime.” And Eren’s looking at him like 👁👄👁 what did you just say to me.

LMAOOO okay genuinely, I don’t think Armin would be mean or ever call someone dumb out loud or to their face, unless that someone is Eren; but he’s been friends with Eren, he certainly knows how to handle being around an idiot lolololol

First of all, there are different applications of intelligence. For as bright and academically brilliant as Armin is, he’s kind of a social dunce 🤒🤒 I don’t mean he’s socially awkward or reclusive, but he might be a little slow to see when people like or dislike him, doesn’t always quite pick up on when people around him are keeping secrets, things like that. So you could out-class him there easily. If not, then good luck living in your little oblivious bubble </2

There’s also a difference between like not being that bright when it comes to academics or complex topics, and just refusing to better yourself or become more knowledgable on things all together. He probably wouldn’t like the latter and conflate it with ignorance.

But if you’re just kind of ditzy or someone who needs a little bit longer to process their school work, he would think it’s cute and probably look on very fondly like, “Ah, what a klutz. My little klutz <22”

If you do little things that are dumb, that’s fine he’s not going to have a fit LOLOLL like if you forget things a lot, or are a little unorganized, or are a little sleepy all the time; he thinks it’s cute. You’re a little bit of a mess, but a cute mess. 

When it comes to academics, he’s not shocked or appalled either. See, he knows he’s smart, and it’s not like he thinks everyone who’s not as smart as him is a total idiot. He understands he’s a little bit sharper than most people in that sense. Really, he would probably just think you’re normal, and it wouldn’t shock him if you didn’t understand what he was studying or talking about when it comes to school work. 

I don’t think he would actually try to actively make his s/o feel dumb LOLL THAT WOULD BE MEAN he’s not mean spirited, nor does he have an ego like that

He would like it if you listened to him ramble on about the very complicated but very cool things he was interested in though. You don’t have to know a lot to make him feel appreciated :) 

Not that you asked about this, but I’ve talked about it before: he would think you’re cute (and honestly, just normal) if you’re not as academically smart as him, but he would get turned on very easily if you were; and very quickly if you ever challenged him bye 

Now, the reason I would personally have beef with Armin is because if he were in my class I would technically need to know everything he knows, but I don’t and I wouldn’t like to see his coconut head show me up every lecture bye.

In purest form of the word, then yeah I think Connie is your best bet. To, you know, actually be a friend with benefits LOLL like I think he’s the least likely to get attached/catch feelings and potentially ruin the arrangement. But I also think he’d be the easiest to end and pick up things with if that makes sense? Like if you wanna stop fucking with him for a bit, then go back, he’s got no problem; he really is just taking it as it comes. And if one of you does catch feelings, he’ll literally shrug it off. I mean, are the messy feelings really worth screwing up guaranteed sex? Not in his book LMAOOO

Listen to me, Eren and Jean are the biggest fucking simps in the mf book. Eren might try and play it off/over his wanna be grunge bad boy persona a little bit more, but he’s still wildly obsessed with you LOLL, and in general Eren doesn’t know how to know a person and not be in their business--and when he can’t be it bothers him. He thinks he’s cut out for fwb because in theory it’s a simple arrangement, but if he repeatedly and consistently (that’s key) fucks with the same person, he’ll get attached. Now he might not always handle it well, but still, he’ll fall. He’s a sucker, bye. 

Jean knew damn well he wasn’t cut out for it anyway, but likely agrees because he knows he likes you and/or that he’s going to end up liking you; and he won’t get you out of his mind anyway, so he might as well hit it. He’s the most obvious about his feelings, and catches onto the them the quickest, but he’s kind of slowing in telling you/looking and/or hoping for signs that you might also like him back. He’s pretty sure that he can make you like him, though, so one way or another it’ll probably work out for him. 

Armin has seen movies so he knows something like this won’t end well for him LMAOO. Also, he strikes me as the one to be least comfortable with casual sex--not that there’s anything wrong with it, or that he looks down on others for liking it, but it’s not really for him. I think he might even feel guilty about it being completely casual; that is, a literal booty call in the middle of the night. If he’s gonna do something like this, he’d at least like to get dinner or watch a movie or something. Or just date you bye

How do u think modern AU armin would smell

Like baby powder LMAOOO I mean that in the best way possible.

Maybe it’s just me or like my experience with some scents/perfumes, but you know how like if you layer enough light and or/fruity scents they kind of merge into, like.... one general note. I probably explained that poorly but I think that Armin probably uses a lot of things with soft scents (like body wash, fabric softener, cologne) that have similar notes and kind of amount to something.... fresh and/or powdery in the end. A good kind of powdery, though. Like.... kind of sweet powdery.... baby powdery in the best way.

I don’t think you’d even smell it unless you were close enough to him or, quite literally had your nose in his neck. I also think his skin is probably ridiculously soft like a baby’s, so maybe that’s why. People with baby soft skin all smell a certain way to me LMAOO. I don’t know, something about him just makes me think he would smell like..... if the color periwinkle had a smell.

back up -- armin on the soccer team?? i'm about to start barking

Armin on the soccer team!! He might not seem like your stereotypically athletic person, but he’s honestly got more coordination than most people. Very agile, and perceptive. Plays well with Eren, who’s more aggressive and offensive. Gives him a break from academic work, plus he gets extensions/grace periods for being on the team (not that he needed them). Looks very, very good in his uniform. Extremely good. People come to soccer games just to look at everyone’s pretty faces honestly. 10/10.
