Rosehip oil is good for so many things,i was reading in this book that I got to review a while back and it was all about essential oils.The essential oils can be used for so many things like cures/antidotes for illnesses,aroma therapy,and cosmetics.I was interested in making so many of the things in that book and rosehip oil can be used in many of the recipes as a carrier oil,since any time you use a essential oil you need a carrier oil because essential oils are usually very pure and very strong,i went ahead and made a scrub with this since it is one of my favorite things to use,but can be very expensive to buy.I had some essential oils grapefruit and peppermint on hand so since im not to crazy about the peppermint smell I went ahead and used the grapefruit.With the oil I added the rosehip as a carrier oil and of course for a scrub you need something rough that will scrub your skin,you can use sugar or salt,i went with sugar.Mixing the sugar,essential oil and carrier oil in a ceramic or glass bowl,its important to remember not to use plastic to mix or store essential oils because pure and or real essential oils will eat through the plastic,so I mixed in a glass bowl and then added a bit of coconut oil which is great for your skin and can also be used as a carrier oil.I used my scrub right away,the sugar worked amazing in a scrub to slough off all the dead/dried skin,making my hands so smooth,the only thing I noticed was it was a bit greasy so ill have to tweak the recipe a bit but it came out super awesome and I can’t wait to make some other stuff with this amazing oil and my others,diy cosmetics with oils and essential oils fascinate me and I want to start making other things besides scrubs,like,lip balms,lotions,shampoo and shower stuff etc there’s so many things you can make and now that I have rose hip oil I’m sure I can add many more things to the list.Rose hip oil is perfect for any cosmetics since it can reduce stretch marks,moisturize skin which it did very much in the scrub I made,reduce appearance of scars and so much more.I received this product for free,for review purposes,all thoughts and or opinions are my own and I was not compensated.You can find this rosehip oil on amazon.com which is currently listed at $12.91 a incredible price that’s sure not to last,please note all pricing is subject to change per the discretion of the company.
