PPC Event Highlights ||| Scope Art Fair (New York, NY)
This fair was my last stop on Day One of my Armory Art Week venturings. Not sure if it was because I had just flown a red-eye flight from San Francisco and hadn’t slept in a bed yet, but Scope Art Fair felt a lot like walking around inside a magazine. Everyone was youthful, everyone was gorgeous, great hair and unusual outfits. Sponsors seemed to flock to this fair. This was the land of the free. Free magazines, free cocktails, free coffee drinks, etc. This was a show for pop-surrealist fans; those looking to see artwork by their already established favorites, as well as discover other post-modern and pop art scene soon-to-be favorites.
