There’s an unfortunate story here. I’d finished the bear, and he was looking pretty spiffy. However, he was missing something. A background! Up until that point I’d been masking out areas with tape, but I’d remembered that I’d bought some masking fluid, about a year ago. So. I used it, painted my background, and prepared to lift it. Well! It only came off in patches, AND since it was clear, and, therefore, hard to tell if it got full coverage, I’d ended up painting over areas that were NOT covered. This resulted in smudging, from trying to pull off paint with water, and tearing from scratching areas I’d though had been masked. However, not ALL was lost: I’d managed to recover some details digitally. Yay! I think I’ll try again later next week. Anywho, HDM is GOOD and I recommend it.
