Saturday morning relaxation... . When Arnaud from @the.ritoires told me he had an unbelievable Tien Guan Yin, he was not kidding! This Iron Goddess of Mercy (which is a very appropriate name for this tea) has the sweetness and flowery orchid notes that I always love in this type of Oolong (which is one of my absolute favorites since it’s the reason why I fell head over heals with blue teas). Yet it also has a bit of green grassiness, a touch of saltiness (which is my weakness)! It’s a bit like salted almonds caramelized with salt, honey, kumquats and orchids. I call it bliss! . Of course, to take notes while taking the time to enjoy this beauty, I had to use my Pelikan m205 demo B tuned years ago by @stringsandpedals at @appelboompennen. Yesterday I received my latest purchase from them including @pelikan_passion Edelstein Ink of the Year Moonstone which is inked in this pen. It’s really pretty and I will be sharing about it soon. .
