Harry Potter Fan Theory of the Week~

This fan theory clams that Arogog was brought to Hagrid by none other than our lovable Hufflepuff Newt Scamander! Arogog says himself that he was brought from a distant land in the pocket of a traveler. What other traveler would be crazy enough to take an egg from an acromantula? Newt of course! Other than Hagrid, Newt is the only other Wizard who sees dangerous Magical Beasts as non-threatening if handled and treated with love and care. It would make sense that Hagrid somehow met Newt at Hogwarts and gave him Arogog because Newt could see the love Hagrid has for Magical Creatures.

So I got a visit from Arogog tonight. He thought it would be funny to hide in my blanket.

Laughing because I just realized that my tortoise was thrust into two different fandoms. Before I started watching spn I named him C.a.s. which stands for Cornelious (minister of magic) Arogog (the giant tarantula thing) Stumme (my last name) ha!
