Yessss, I've been trying to process this for years while watching him for goodness sake.

You must have callouses on your eardrums after watching him for years (I used to watch him more circa 2007 too though). I watched one interview with him yesterday and have had enough for the next couple years again. Although it was kinda funny because the interview was so tense and got more and more snappy. Maher’s remark about microwaves was what really cracked me up. For fuck’s sake man, do you ever recognise a joke if it wasn’t you who made it? omg :D

As a native English speaker, I very much prefer "those rolley things with the things on them" instead of saying "dice." No but seriously I just use "dice" for both forms because it seems rude to "die!" in polite company.

Thor is an Avenger and my fave one at that so no Loki can't take his place. Loki can still appear in other films.

Thank you! Tea is soothing. Though, come to think of it, I was drinking tea before I went to bed last night and started writing this Clint Barton fic. Hmmm.

Yes, they're also entertaining to watch because they always think of something new, it's like a magic show. As I wrote above, they're close to a certain kind of hero archetype, they have the same skills, but use them with cynicism, place themselves outside of the order of things and through that unmask it. I wonder if the conman has the kind of potential for people identifying themselves with him that superheroes have.

I have to forcefully keep myself from thinking about the "lone genius" trope now because I think I could also place it in the current social mythology but I have other things to do so I must not get excited lol
