Why do people think that because I’m asexual my perception on dating is different? It’s something I think about at night sometimes, but it’s just I’m asexual not aromantic. Just because your version of romance involves sex doesn’t make my version any less romantic. I still want to sweep a girl off her feet, to be late because I was caught in the moment. To spend hours with a person, and still miss them when they leave. I want to be with someone who wouldn’t say ‘you don’t know what your missing’. I want a great love. I think that the main reason I need asexual and aromantic representation is because people can’t understand a lack of love or sex.
