She looked at her mother, now beaten and bloodied, "Mom!" she called out to her, her voice trembling. Rose's eyes were blurred with the tears that had began to flow down her cheeks, "Please stop!" she pleaded, "Please!"

Restrained, your character is forced to watch mine tortured in front of them. How does this affect them?

Athena raised her head, revealing her bloody and swollen face. “I accept whatever torture you have for me,” she coughed, “but please, spare my daughter,” she pleaded. “She is innocent. She doesn’t understand. I beg you,” she winced as another blow was dealt to her. “Have heart, show her compassion. Do it not for me but for the sake of the child,” she bit on her lip to prevent herself from screaming as they struck her again. “I’ll take her punishment. Please, don’t make her watch anymore,” she continued to plead. Finally, she turned to her daughter.

"Be strong," she instructed. "I’m okay, I’m okay," she tried to assure her young daughter. "Don’t cry, momma’s alright."

"Look, I know its uncomfortable...but you really, REALLY want to keep that helmet on." For the fifth time in about twenty minutes, Deejay paused to make sure Wren wasn't trying to pull her helmet off. She didn't like wearing it apparently and he didn't blame her.  But the boss said "bring her back alive and healthy" and if she took of that helmet...well...breathing raw imulsion fumes was a quick way to get sick and probably die.  And there were a hell of a lot of imulsion fumes now...

Vienna is her mother
