It's easier to do it this way
@transientpetersen in response to this http://transientpetersen.tumblr.com/post/161549127320/isaacsapphire-tsutsifrutsi-people-bemoan-low "How much influence does Microsoft and Boeing exert in Washington?" Very different kinds of influence. Boeing is an aircraft company, which means they are a munitions company. Their fortunes rise and fall based on their ability to get and keep enormous military contracts. Washington DC exerts a HUGE influence on Boeing. Vise versa? Obviously Boeing tries to influence Washington so it can get those contracts, and it probably isn't adverse to contacts being issued in general or military spending, because they might be able to get a piece. But as potentially troubling as that is from an outside perspective, it's very legible and classic: Company makes a product, wants to sell it to the government. Microsoft, on the other hand, seems to primarily want to be left alone by the government, with a touch of intellectual property defense and a few contracts that are important but not the lifeblood of the company. Antitrust regulations that threatened to force Microsoft to break up seem to be much more concerning to the company. Idk, anybody else want to chime in?

Hey all! First off, I want to give everyone a huge thanks for your support- despite being barely a month old, this blog already has over 100 followers! It means a lot to me when you guys share the positivity I write here, because I know that somewhere out there, those posts are making people smile; the further they go, the more wonderful folks they reach, including those who may be struggling and really need to hear something uplifting. Things are still hectic, but my schedule’s almost completely sorted out now. Once I can get into a routine with that, I can set aside time to be a more active poster. Thanks again for all of your help!
Hey all! Sorry for the lack in posts; I’ve got a busy schedule to keep up with and there’s been drama on the homefront, but I’m still here. Anyway, there’s been a nicely positive response to the tag suggestions, which is awesome! I’ll probably start testing them out over the weekend. Thank you all for your input!

ArospAce gender options
For anyone concerned about the mandatory gender fields in ArospAce, I've been working this morning to remove them and replace them with more encompassing options
My coding isn't the most impressive, so if it's a little buggy let me know. It is still a requirement of the host website to select a gender option upon registration, but once you're in the forum you can remove that and select one of our options instead. I'm still working on removing the little gender icons too.
