GUYS SO UM, BASICALLY I WAS JUST SURFING THE WEB AND MANAGED TO FIND MYSELF ON THE LANGUAGE OF FLOWERS AGAIN (or 花言葉) [because i love it when the language of flowers get incorporated in literary any piece of media EVER] AND UH.
There’s a flower called “Aster” [or Aster Tataricus] or “Shion” [紫苑] in Japanese
AND IN JAPAN IT MEANS, REMEMBERANCE/“I will never forget you”
DHMU OMG????? THE COINCIDENCE, (this legit lines up with my previous angst fic of Ink ‘dying’, and the flowers White chrysanthemums and Myosotis or, FORGET-ME-NOTS are incorporated in the story)
NO BECAUSE, I LITERALLY ALWAYS ASSOCIATE FORGET ME NOT FLOWERS TO INK
AND THIS FLOWER JUST LINES UP?????????!?!?!?!!
Also another thing, in greek, aster literally means star, and the flower is named after the word, due to it blooming akin to a star, and Aster is an astronomer (though i think his name is intentional, i think the flower was not.)
