DOCTOR KINGGGUHHH I HAVE AN AILMENTTTT😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫
i love her so much
Drawing inspired in the Fic “M.E.L. Medical Evaluation Liaison” by @cardi0myapathy my favorite scene!
mel being undiagnosed makes so much sense. she's not like her sister, so she can't be autistic. her struggles are nothing compared to becca's. besides, she always did well in school and managed to become an accomplished doctor who works 12 hour shifts. she doesn't have any needs at all. it would be so selfish to even consider that she might be on the spectrum.
Service Hours (Chapter 14)
Read here on AO3!
Summary:
Mel reaches her breaking point with the stress of school, her father's health, and the general loneliness she's been feeling. Frank takes her home and spends a day getting to know the *real* Mel King.
The next chapter will be a Frank POV! I know homecoming chapters are very cliche in books and film, but it felt right after all the emotional torture I've been putting Mel through. Frank very purposefully is giving her the space she needs to crash out for a little bit, and I really love the idea of her feeling *seen* by him versus just known.
I start grad school up again next week, and I've been traveling for work, so I'm trying to write a few chapters ahead to hopefully stay on a consistent posting schedule!
