what if Lynera is aromantic. She just doesn't realise she's aro, so she overcompensates because she doesnt realise there isnt anything wrong with her, and she sees her best friend starting to prioritise other people so she responds by getting extremely clingy and insecure and then mistakes those feelings for those "matesprit feelings" shes heard so much about and THEN convinces herself of these feelings to the point she identifies with them to the point of unhealthy obsession

anyway im hoping she learns healthier coping mechanisms in hiveswap two because These Aren't It, and that she also learns to value herself, bc I still care for her deeply and want her to be happy 😔✊
