Waking up next to her, Ayako's eyes lingered on the still sleeping woman for quite a while before she sat up and remained seated next to her with a glance through the large windows.

By now they had known each other for a while, engaged in a sexual relationship, and were also kind of friends. It felt good to be near her, to feel her close, however, one particular thing had been bothering Aya for a few days now.

Since they weren't in a committed relationship, they didn't really have to account for certain things to each other, however there was one thing she wanted to make clear anyway. She had already prepared herself for the possibility that Danica would react dismissively towards her.

When she noticed the woman next to her stirring, Aya turned her head to her and watched her slowly wake up. "Hey." she smiled, waiting for Danica to notice her.

avery hasn’t been able to take her eyes of danica all evening. the brunette is so stunning and so very distracting, but avery has a knack for not taking anything for herself. that’s not to say she and the brunette haven’t spent the lat several weeks flirting with each other via text and facetime, but it’s almost easier to be more brave with a piece of technology between them over taking what she wants in person. she watches the brunette make her way back to her and when danica approaches the table, avery makes a small motion with her head, silently asking the brunette to take a seat beside her. “d’you know how stunning you are in that dress?”

The High Life

“Just around the corner.”  Alicia led with confidence to hide the fat that her heart was practically beating out of her chest. She’d been finding excuses for weeks to talk to Danica. Sometimes it was as innocent as shooting a cute photo or a friendly text, and other times it was as flagrant as holding whole lunches that in reality could have been addressed with a text.

Now, she’d heard that someone had only set Danica up with a standard hotel room at the conference, and that just couldn’t be left alone. 

As they stepped up to the door and she scanned her key fob, she looked over her shoulder and grinned. “There’s a whole guest room in here, so if you decide to crash here, go for it.”

“oh darling,” genya chuckled, weaving her fingers into danica’s hair. “we simply must do something about this.” it wasn’t that the girl’s hair was bad—perhaps just a little tangled up in what felt like nonsensical knots. it would be pretty by anyone else’s standard, but genya was not the norm. she had much higher expectations, for herself and for the other people around her.

Not what he was doing before, that’s for sure. The moment he hears a voice behind him and can feel the stranger look over his shoulder, he presses the lock button on his phone so the screen turns black. He was honestly just tapping aimlessly between the same three applications but it’s not like the guy needs to know. “ Nothing that could be of interest. ”

"I dunno if you know this, but... You've got a huge hickey." Points at the side of his own neck. "Right there. Your shirt definitely does not cover it. Nice try though."

He’d told Prompto not to do it that high. Except, while he’d been doing it, Noctis had never told him to stop so, to be fair, that was completely his own fault. “That is totally not a giant hickey. I just managed to get in a real big brawl with a vacuum cleaner while helping Ignis clear out the Regalia. I swear man, it’s not that.” 

Noctis wasn’t convincing at all but then again, lying wasn’t something he was proficient in. He reached up to run a palm over that part of his neck and tried to secure his collar to hide it somewhat. That wasn’t working well...

Well, that’s unexpected, to say the least. Prompto has been out and about Lestallum since morning, buying this and that, turning things in and taking photos -- nothing out of the ordinary. So it shouldn’t be surprising that the sudden concern catches him off guard. Is it a nice thing to hear? Sure! Although he’s not entirely sure what to think of it when it’s coming from somebody he’s never seen before and who shouldn’t know the blond well enough to see the worry creating creases in his forehead. 

( Can it be that he knows -- ? No. That shouldn’t be possible. Then? )

Pivot on the spot, he turns around to follow the stranger as his form becomes smaller and smaller the further away he gets. “ Thank.  .  .  you? ” well then. He should probably hurry back and tell the others as well about the guy.
