        being back in the little town she loved so much felt a little foreign to the girl. it had been almost a full year of her living on her alone, working her ass off and getting bills paid. of course she was beyond happy and excited to see her parents and her siblings, but being back in town meant time with orion -- the boy who meant the absolute world to her. naturally she was beyond excited to see him, but she had been planning to actually show up to his front door with a bunch of food --- not to randomly see him like she was now. she hadn’t even noticed the person next to him until she was bounding up to him, practically in a full fledged jog now. “orion!!” madison hollered, grin wide as she finally broke out into a sprint. she purposely hadn’t called or texted him, nor had she even posted on instagram. she genuinely wanted it to be a surprise and after surprising her parents, of course orion was next on the agenda. for madison, it would always, always be orion. orion, orion, orion.. the greatest best friend she could ever ask for. the surprise was ruined, really.. but it still wasn’t going to stop her from reuniting with the boy --- she didn’t really care for the person he was with, whether it was a date or a friend. that was the last thing on her mind.

            it didn’t stop how the actress launched herself into his arms, her own tangling around his neck with the biggest smile. “hi.. i missed you.” madison playfully cooed, face buried deep at his neck as she simply took everything in. “--and now i really feel at home.” being with him again, being literally in his arms. “surprise !! ”

howon did it out of spite. if his company wanted to push him into a pr relationship, he was going to make it as unbearable to handle as he could, for them. “go big or go home, my love,” the rapper shrugged carelessly. sure enough, his phone started blowing up with messages from his manager and howon smirked, immensely proud of his stunt. “might as well have fun with this messed up situation. what do you say, wanna raise some hell with me?” he raised a brow and extended a hand for the other to shake.  

"you’re so weird, dude.” leon snickered as he shook his head. he thought about it for a moment, knowing the whole deal with the company and his lips stretched into a boxy grin. he shook howon’s hand before he brought it up to his lips, kissing the back of his hand. “it’s a deal, babe.” he opened the door of his dressing room and nodded his head inside, “we gotta make it look really convincing, though. gotta plan some things so we’re saying the same things, at least.”

“ i’m not crying. my eyes are just really sweaty. ” she sniffled, wiping both eyes before offering a forced smile. it was an obvious lie. they were red and puffy from the river of tears that had only stopped seconds ago. sensing that they most likely didn’t believe her, hana turned her head away and wiped away at her eyes again. she nuzzled her face into the plushy tucked in between her arms as she let out a deep sigh. “ i’m sorry i’m like this. i’m just stressed out. ”

moving from boston to new york, several hours away from his toxic family home, had been the greatest experience in quinn park’s life so far. at last, he was free to do whatever he wanted, without his parents looming over his shoulders 24/7. granted, his mother still called and texted him every day to check on him and nag him about studying, but that didn’t stop him from partying and drinking with his fraternity brothers, and it definitely didn’t stop him from experimenting with other things that college life had to offer. 

tonight, ‘sigma alpha epsilon’ was hosting one of their legendary parties, which basically meant that anywhere you looked, you’d see people getting drunk, high or dry-fucking each other. quinn wasn’t drunk yet, but he was definitely buzzed. bopping to the loud music, he accidentily brushed his shoulder against someone elses, causing him to spill the content of his red cup all over his shirt. “watch where you’re going, you fucking idiot!” he sneered, dark eyes glaring at the stranger, who actually looked... oddly familiar to him. “what the...” eyes widened, confusion written all over his face. was this guy really his taeho?

sometimes, rowon couldn’t believe that he was engaged. every time he looked at the ring on his finger, it made him happy, his heart constantly skipping a beat each time he looked at the band. it’s been a few months since minjae proposed to him and it still felt very new each time he recalled. there they were in an empty room – previously, it was the guest’s room – as he layered the final paint on the wall. “that took a while,” rowon sighed, placing the brush on the tray as he took a good look. “the grey’s nicer than i thought. i’m glad we picked the lightest shade of grey, though.” he looked at his fiancé and grinned, “you have a lil paint on your cheek.” he took a cloth and wiped at the stain, “we can think of what we wanna get for the baby? like his bed and rugs and stuff.”

while orion chose not to attend college, he’d rather focus on his comics than waste his time at least that’s how the twenty year old saw college as, he was proud of his brother for going back to school and finishing his degree, ten years later. although not responsible for his parents abandoning them and his brother being forced to take care of him at the young age of eighteen, he felt guilty for depriving his brother of an education and many other things young adults did. “oh! good evening,” his threw him an apologetic smile for not paying attention and bumping into him, “yes, finally.” much to his brother dismay, orion had taken a job at a coffee to help pay the bills, “how did tutoring go? is my brother doing well?”

skylar smiled at the other, the taller male humming softly. “yeah, he’s doing great. picks up things really fast, actually.” orion’s brother showed interest in studying, which was what any tutor could ask for, really. “we should be done with the subject in a few more visits, so he’s good to go then.” he explained, proud of what he could do to help the other. “oh since you’re here… i’m about to grab some dinner. do you wanna come along?”

junhong adored little jiho to bits. he would never admit it, but the two-year old was definitely one of his favourite students without a doubt. his father was adorable too, but he would rather jump off a cliff than admit it to the man himself. he had a tiny crush on taeho and his grandmother would often poke fun at him, but he knew that he wouldn’t stand a chance with someone like the other. he did his usual routine with jiho – sing a couple songs, introduced a few colours, talked to the child, fed and bathed him as well. he loved babysitting the little human and jiho would never fail to make him smile. taeho had informed him that he would be late, so junhong proceeded to warm up jiho’s milk bottle before he gave it to the child, smiling widely as soon as jiho was able to hold the bottle by himself. “we’re gonna go to bed after this, okay?” he cooed, gently patting the baby to sleep. he stifled a yawn as he laid down next to the toddler on the mattress that he had placed in the living room, glancing at the clock – they had a good forty-five minutes before taeho arrived. a few minutes passed and jiho was asleep, he took the bottle and placed it to the side before he continued to pat the child, his eyes heavy and before he knew it, he fell asleep as well.  ––   @arrogantce​
