Dark Business
@arrowsandglitter Rosalie's words had been soft and honeyed in the Sanctuary, promising Vicente he'd enjoy the trip. He hadn't been at all convinced, but once she put on that "Listener" air about her he knew he had no choice and packed some of his books and vials of blood. After all... Their business was important. They needed connections, needed to stick their noses in places where they were or weren't supposed to be. All for the sake of renovating the Falkreath Sanctuary. Rosalie missed being close to her family, and it would be better for the Brotherhood to spread out anyhow. They needed room to grow. When Rosalie brought him to Honeyside, the faint sound of buzzing in his ears, he had decided it didn't seem too awful. It was well nearing three in the morning, all the inhabitants of the house fast asleep. Rosalie found a young girl she called "Eliza", pressing a kiss when she stirred with a sleepy smile at the woman's voice. "Zac is in the room next door, he won't bother you. There's a basement to hole yourself up in and keep in the dark." She advised him. Vicente left her in the room with the girl, but his unnatural hearing picked up faint clicks coming through the door. Unable to wave away his curiosity he opened the door, pale red eyes glowing in the darkness. A boy laid there, fast asleep with a mess of curls resting upon his pillow. Vicente shut the door behind him, quietly as could be, creeping up to him. His scent was soft and gentle, the faint moonlight that made its way into his room reflecting off tiny unseen shards of shattered soul gem in his hair. Vicente's eyes flashed, his focus easily swayed. He sat at the edge of the bed, still as a statue and his eyes fixated on the boy. No thirst burned in his throat, but his gaze was an uncanny thing. Perhaps.... Uncanny enough to unnerve the boy even in his sleep.
