Pookie how do you feel about my husband Nero? I know you’ve written for his father before so I was wondering if you’d ever consider writing for him
Yes I’ve actually been thinking about it since I finished dmc 4.
I’m taking this chance to just write a tiny something for him since I’m out right now and bored
Nero is definitely the angry and mouthy with everyone else except for you type. That’s a DEFINITE. I also genuinely think Nero is a jealous partner and it will show off at any point whether it’s hanging out with him literally anywhere or during sex where his pace will be just a little bit speedy than it usually is and rougher as he knocks his cock head as deep as it can go.
But he will definitely make it everyone’s problem if someone even looks at you the wrong way.
Anyway I saw this man on the tv screen at 8 years old and my life changed
Hello! I love your netflix devil may cry works! And i wanted to make a request if thats okay!
Can you write something about vergil with a soft shy s/o? I just think that would be adorable!
Vergil really gives vibes of someone who is very devoted and loyal, and this probably would translate as protectiveness and gentleness towards his beloved, specially if reader is someone who gets easily overwhelmed by people like dante and lady.
I just love soft vergil with soft reader:')
hiii!! i live for this kind of trope so let’s get into it !! walk with me lovely 💞
a/n: gn! reader :)
vergil’s life pretty much revolved around being strong enough to be able to protect what he cares for.
so when the shy, pretty you came into his life, it was a set mission to do anything and everything to make sure that you were comfortable.
when you wanted something but could not put it into proper words, he’d do it for you. if you were uncomfortable with someone you’re around, he’s putting himself in between. your knight in shining armor, basically.
if you’d go out somewhere that required talking, he’d usually take over for you. remembers everything that you prefer or like so you won’t have to order it if you go out somewhere.
there was a time when vergil brought you to see his brother and his “friend” lady, he could immediately sense when your unease had started to climb. you liked the two of them, no doubt, but their dynamic and personalities clashing just wasn’t something you were used to.
they’d tease and argue about the tiniest little things, and as amusing as it could be, a part of you feared that it could escalate to the worst.
you’re sat on the couch with vergil by your side, watching dante and lady get into one of their shenanigans. your knee’s bouncing, and to your luck, and vergil notices it almost immediately.
he leans into your ear, breath warm and almost soothing. “you okay?” you answer with a nod, but you’re not so sure yourself.
vergil takes the initiative to scoot just a bit closer to where your hips touch, sliding one large hand onto your knee. his warmth soothes your nerves successfully, and you find yourself leaning into his side.
“thank you.” you mumble, and your man just squeezes your knee in response. the rest of that night, he would only raise his voice if it began to affect you.
yeah, your man doesn’t play about you.
even when the two of you are just home together, he’s always considerate about the way he touches you or shows affection. you’re his priority, and he’ll make sure that you feel safe.
the night’s fallen over the sky, and you wanted to cuddle your boyfriend, but… you had no way of literally telling him without imploding.
you’re sat on the edge of the bed while vergil’s drying his hair in the bathroom mirror after a shower. “vergil.” your voice cuts through the comfortable silence.
his eyes meet yours in the mirror. “mhm?”
you can’t find the words in the moment. your mouth opens, closes not a moment after. “i, uhm..” he seems to understand what you want, putting his towel aside and walking towards you.
“do you need something?” he stops in front of you, cerulean searching your eyes. you don’t say anything, but you stretch your arms out as a hint.
without another word, vergil’s hauling you into his arms, replacing your spot on the bed with himself and adjusting you in his lap. his arms wrap around your frame, chin on top of your head. “is this okay?”
“mm.” you hum in approval, slowly snaking your arms around his midsection. he smells clean with a slightest hint of cologne, a perfect mix in your nostrils.
vergil places a few kisses to your hairline in your silence, enjoying you in his arms. “i got you,” he murmurs softly, hands beginning to roam, caress, and graze parts of you with a reverence that makes your chest ache.
“if you want me to stop, i can, okay?” he points out, but you don’t want him to. you only tug him a little closer, safe in his embrace.
you can’t see it, but the ghost of a smile graces his lips. you’re his precious little treasure, and he’d be damned to let anyone disrespect you.

EP 7.1 The Reckoning (prev.)
EP 7.3 CODE: YN (cont.)
Summary: Mary confronts the White Rabbit on her own, with the suspicion that he's an old friend she once lost before.
No matter how many times she tries to convince herself otherwise, she knows that the Rabbit’s vendetta was against her and her alone. This was never about liberating demons or destroying Sparda’s barrier, something else is at play. That’s why she made sure to keep the two of you away from his clutches.
Something tells her that it won’t matter either way. She’s the one that the White Rabbit wants the most. The one that a certain Jester wants the most. And if it means getting to the bottom of this, to prevent any more casualties and finally solving whatever the hell is truly happening, she’ll play his game.
For years ago, Mary Ann Arkham had a friend; and she fears that they’ve been here this entire time.
The city’s otherwise bright lights during nighttime, illuminating the main street as people pass by each other, was overstimulating with how her thoughts were already running rampant. With the large suitcase grounding her as she tries to clear her mind to focus on her objective; Mary’s eyes narrowed in focus, glaring at every passerby to make way. Spotting a vehicle at the end of the sidewalk, she met eyes with its driver and sped up towards him.
“Hey baby, you need a ride? But what the man thought to be a night of pleasure at the company of another woman turned out to be a night where he’ll be held at gunpoint to surrender his car. “Because I definitely need you to ride this dick—”
“Out of the car! Now!”
There is only a few minutes left before the agreed time, and Mary doesn’t want to waste any by idling in the traffic. Running through multiple red lights, she avoided the police by haphazardly turning at every corner; but despite going over the speed limit, it still won’t be enough to reach the rendezvous area that’s still a few streets away. She could spy the demons atop the building, and since there aren’t any more shortcuts, she grabbed her gun and shot the flatbed truck that was carrying a large set of ladders on its back. Shouting an apology to the driver as she uses the leverage that the ladder gave, Mary drove straight through the traffic wall, with the vehicle flying towards the rooftop where the demons gathered.
Mid-air, a grotesque demon met her as it prepared to attack. With her hand already at the door’s handle, Mary grabbed her suitcase and jumped out, shooting at the car’s gas tank and detonating it at the demon’s face. With one enemy down, she landed at the ground as its remains rained down from above. And with that, Mary faced the White Rabbit.
“Arkham.” He doesn’t seem surprised by her appearance however, even giving praise for her entrance. “But you’re out of cars, and I’ve got a lot more warriors.” And as if to prove his statement, Mary found herself surrounded on all sides, with the demons only waiting for a command to strike. Despite her abilities, she won’t be able to win against a horde on her own; knowing this, she’s hoping that your earlier statement of her being a sacrificial maiden would increase her chances at survival.
Putting away her weapon as if to show that she won’t engage in combat anymore, Mary procured a switch from her pocket and held it out for everyone to see. “Lucky for them, I’m here to negotiate.”
“With what, exactly?
“Dante’s life.”
“I press this button, and the most irritating member of both our species gets turned into a fucking cinder.” That caught every demons’ attention, and as expected, it piqued the Rabbit’s interest as well. “Might be hard to take a DNA sample from him after that.”
“I see.” But Mary knows that it won’t be easy. She’s talking to someone who’s willing to bring an end to Humanity just so he could
She’s talking to someone who’s willing to bring an end to Humanity just so he could achieve whatever demonic vision he has. Convincing him to stand down and surrender the artifacts is extremely unlikely, but as long as she could get the amulet back… “So, in exchange for not eradicating my blood supply, you want me to call off the attack.”
“And give me the amulet.”
He only laughs at her words, saying that she’s too ballsy for someone with a grave disadvantage.
“But if Dante burns, his blood is gone.” With her options running out, Mary hovers her finger over the button. “Forever.” If she can’t make a deal with him, then perhaps she could appeal to his army? Given the experiments she saw in the apartment, there should be at least some dissatisfaction within their ranks. “You put these demons through torture, fucked with their genetic codes, all for your cause.” Even a small discord would do…
“You should take the deal to keep the hope for the cause alive.”
That’s all she needs to get an opening to strike.
“Unless you have another agenda they should know about—”
“Do you truly think that’s the case?”
Mary froze.
“Alright then, take it.”
Much to her surprise, the Rabbit gently took off the necklace, in a manner befitting that of a gentleman, and threw it in her direction. That was too easy, and he looked too calm as she caught the amulet, like this won’t even deter his plans at all. But Mary doesn’t have time to argue with details, she has the amulet, it’s time to scram. “A pleasure, as always.” But as she steps back, she realized that none of the demons moved to make way for her escape.
“...If I may, Lieutenant…”
“I fear there’s been some misunderstanding.”
“These demons aren’t that intelligent at all.”
The Chevalier Demon swooped from above, sword in hand, ready to cut Mary down if she didn’t grab Kalina Ann in time. Her case falls empty as the rocket launcher parries the strike, and as the rest of the army charged towards her, she shot at the demonic knight, sending him flying towards the bridge. Using the serrated blade at her weapon’s end, she slashed her way through the crowd; and seeing as she couldn’t shoot another missile, Mary shoved the weapon through a demon’s head, before resorting to her machine gun.
It only blew up a couple of her enemies until it ran out of bullets, but she still hasn't found an escape route. With only her dual pistols left, she had to fight a continuously increasing horde of demons as they closed in on her. She can’t die here, not after everything that had happened.
One of them snuck behind and managed to nick her shoulder, an injury that shouldn’t have mattered, yet it only took a few seconds for her to collapse. What?
“A formula I developed based on Echidna’s natural toxin.” The Rabbit’s voice echoes as her vision swims. She can barely make out his silhouette as he approaches… or was she the one that’s getting near? “It won’t kill you, only paralyze you for a while.” He reaches out to her neck and snatches the pendant off, but Mary isn't even sure what’s happening anymore. Her body remained slack as it felt like she was getting dragged by her hair.
“All of my warriors’ blades are doused with it.”
“It’ll give us plenty of time to extract Dante’s blood from him.”
“We just have to land one blow.”
Her surroundings changed again as she was thrown over a demon’s shoulder. With the last of her mind intact, she surmised that she’s going to be carried off somewhere. As a sacrifice, she thinks. At least the ritual won’t be complete so long as Dante’s not here.
Someone stood in front of her, and with what’s left of her sense of touch, Mary could feel the pressure as the Rabbit grabbed her cheeks, forcing her to look at him. “You really thought that I’ll fall for such an obvious bluff? I wasn’t that same gullible kid who blindly believed in your words before. You mean nothing to me now.”
“Le…” But before she could finish her sentence, the Rabbit lets go, making her head fall back as she remains immobile.
“Don’t worry, Mary. You won’t die here just yet.”
“You’re just as important as Dante.”
As she loses consciousness, she hears something explode as she falls. But instead of the dull pain of concrete hitting her body, a pair of arms caught her before she could hit the floor. Mary opened her eyes and was met by your smile.
Hi! I wanted to ask if you’d be open to writing something with Vergil and Dante both fighting over the reader. I really love the childhood friend trope dynamic
hi hi!! i’m so sorry for this long wait and it’s kinda sucky, but here it is! walk with me 💞
the sparda brothers were your best friends growing up. always have been and always will be.
but what you failed to notice as a kid was how much they wanted you to themselves. whether it was for your attention or affection, they’d shed blood for it.
a memory that you have when the three of you were kids was that they’d bring you little trinkets and present it to you.
vergil would bring you a little flower, gentle and in your favorite color. “i found this for you,” he would murmur shyly.
and dante would somehow find a pretty rock, shiny and glistening in all angles of the sun. “look, isn’t it pretty?”
with a bright smile, you’d thank them and take their gifts and keep them close to your heart. thinking back, that’s definitely when their little competition started. the competition to win you.
and at one point, the lines began to blur between casual and intimate territory.
so now, when the three of you are hanging in dante’s apartment, their stupid shenanigans are bound to begin at any moment.
you’re sprawled out on the couch, head on vergil’s lap while he stares into the void, not a thought behind his irises.
somewhere in the kitchen, you can hear a loud groan from none other than dante himself.
and the shenanigans start now.
“what’s the matter, dante?” your voice carries into the kitchen. when you turn your head, dante’s leaning against the doorway that leads into the living room.
“i’m dying. hold me.” he pouts, eyes flickering up to look at who you assume is vergil before back to you.
you deadpan at this. “you look alive to me.” dante takes a step towards you. “you’re hallucinating. there’s blood all over my face.”
he holds his arms out, a slow grin forming. “c’mere, sweetheart. bring it in.”
suddenly, a warm hand finds purchase on top of your head. vergil’s.
“yeah, no.” he states, tone leaving no room for argument. “i’m comfy, thank you.”
dante’s eyes narrow. “what does that have to do with you?” the elder brother continues to hold his ground. “i’m. comfy. she’s not moving.”
you watch his interaction unfold, eyes unblinking. it’s funny, cause you’ve seen them fight like this all the time, but this seems incredibly obvious. of what you ask?
well, of you.
“you’ve been hogging her all day today, can’t i be beside her for a change?”
“don’t act like you don’t keep her to yourself the moment you get the chance. which is basically like everyday.”
“can you two relax?” you cut through their bickering. you shift your focus onto vergil, who’s watching you with a tick in his jaw.
“tell him that.” vergil grumbles. “i was with you first.”
“is that not the more reason i should be able to be with her now??” dante argues, exasperated.
“no.” vergil answers simply.
you roll your eyes at this, patting your thigh gently. “come here, dante.” his eyes glance at you before immediately beelining towards you.
vergil’s hand on your head begins caressing your locks. “what are you doing?” he questions.
“making the two of you happy.” you reply.
you lift your legs just enough for dante to sit on the couch, allowing them to rest across his thighs. his hands immediately begin ministrations along your supple skin, eliciting a sigh from you.
vergil’s tense about the whole “sharing” thing, but he eventually relaxes enough to allow himself to card his hands through your hair again and gently scratch your scalp.
your eyes flutter shut out of bliss. “you guys don’t ever have to fight over me. i’m for the two of you.”
you can’t see them, but the brothers share a short look. in 3 seconds, they both came to an agreement that there’s no need for them to argue.
