I'm going to break the rules because that's how I roll. I'm just going to answer the questions
1. Are you currently reading a(ny) book(s) for fun? If so, what? I'm trying to re-read paper towns and get through a pharmacy joke book
2. What’s your favorite vegetable? oh goodness do i have to pick just one?
3. Do you prefer the coast, mountains, or open fields? mountains baby, mountains
4. What is your favorite arts and crafts thing to do for fun? i occasionally draw but it usually just ends up being super abstract stuff that might end up selling for millions of dollars because abstract art is weird
5. Music that you’re into lately? Super into 5sos as of late
6. Favorite dinosaur? T-rex b/c of its hands
7. How many languages can speak/read? Which ones? Umm lets see, I can speak russian and english, I can read russian english, spanish, and greek and i can understand a bit of creole/spanish
8. Free space. Pick something you want to share.
9. Favorite past travel destination? This hs hard because I'm stuck between belize and alaska
10. What are your feelings with respect to glitter? As long as its no where near me i'm cool
11. You get to build your perfect pizza. What’s on it? Pizza. I'll make a pizza with pizza on it

But you also have to submit transcripts from everywhere you’ve taken classes, so if a grade was originally assigned in a CC class, med schools will still see it!
Thank you for the addition! I didn't know that :)

lol I had too much lychee wine last night, I shouldn't have posted this at all.
I support gun ownership. I have just been around too many scenarios where owning and knowing how to use one was able to thwart a crime in progress. Especially in areas where the police response time was upwards of 30 minutes... a little long for an armed robbery. In fact, that was exactly the case just down the street from my remote preceptor site about a week before I got there.
With that said, I'm a reasonable dude and I'm not going to pretend we don't have an issue with mass murders involving guns. Nor am I going to carelessly pass the blame on to things like "mental illness," which is something that really pisses me off. So, too, does the apparent socioeconomic selectivity dictating which shootings receive national attention.
To tell you the truth, I don't know what the solution is. I don't agree with an outright universal ban, or something silly like only legalizing "one-shot" weapons which is something a friend suggested a while back. But I also don't agree with the NRA lobby line that any form of control implies that "they're coming for our guns" or whatever. There's gotta be a reasonable meeting point between these sides.
The best I can do at a personal level is be a responsible owner and be willing to listen to/discuss arguments for or against in a tactful manner. The latter of which I guess is something I try to do for any hotly debated topic.
