i hate the mcyt fandom. tommy made an insensitive joke, realized this, and called himself out on it and everyone is saying he didn’t need to apologize??? like???? yeah. he did. his joke hurt/made people really uncomfortable. but the problem isn’t about him. because he has shown that he recognizes it was offensive and not funny, and apologized and made steps to not repeat his mistakes and yet the fandom is excusing his actions while he is trying to hold himself accountable.
