I’ve found this wedge brush and I’m really enjoying it as a way of creating sketchier drawings that I don’t overthink too much. so here are some scribble ideas I’ve had bouncing around in my head for a while that I’ve managed to get down this afternoon...

Jesse adopts Daniel - it’s inevitable that after spending a decade watching his life tick away whilst his lover refuses to help him, then being homeless dying of AIDS, then being turned, then going through the craziness of QOTD, that Daniel is likely to have some kind of breakdown, but why hand him over to Marius, who has a pattern of seeking out young vulnerable men to control? why not let Jesse help him? they’re blood twins after all, and she’s pretty stable with a good support system, I think they’d get on well and she’d be a great influence on him - plus they’d bond over their mutual Thing with truthseeking and investigation! “LOOK MAHARET I FOUND A SAD BOY CAN WE KEEP HIM” mlm/wlw solidarity brotp forever. 

Look, I just found it interesting that Known Loner Gabrielle is noted as specifically seeking out Jesse’s company at Night Island... like, Gabs knows what she’s here for yanno.

Louisa “saddest lesbian vampire since Carmilla” De Pointe Du Lac and Lestat, from @vraik and @goth-mabel‘s heartbreaking cisswap au. their history has given them some Issues with intimacy, but they’re working on it! 

Louis and Lestat from a scene in @gulfportofficial‘s incredible fic. I just love how the scene in the car goes from their vicious, awful fight, to horrible hatesex, to the sweet tenderness of Louis stealing Lestat’s fake glasses and gently cleaning him up with his pocket square. also I realised that as Lestat is meant to be the driver I drew them the wrong way around OOPS #britishartistproblems

Lestat and Armand need to reconcile because I need their stupid height difference + Lestat being tactile to create ridiculous compositions where they’re leaning all over each other like this OKAY

it’s a crime that we don’t get any canon Daniel and Lestat interactions because uhhhhh gimme that chaotic disaster bi brotp???? they’d have such a good time together and yes I will die on this hill.
