This song from my childhood I just refound summons some TADC art into my mind.

I need some help with this design for my character, Psi.

I made some different versions, but im still not happy.

If you have any suggestions, or even better, show me how you would design his outfit, that would be great.

And if you have any ideas outside the outfit, that's great to.

For context:

I was going for a butterfly motif, more specifically, a  Leptosia nina. 

I slightly based him of Psyche from Greek mythology ( I thought it made sense because... soul in the machine, Psyche is the goddess of the soul).

He comes off very stone faced and serious, but in realty, he  wants to, not only know more about the world, but experience it. Despite technically being somewhat organic, (He is techno organic, so his body is a weird combination of technology and biology) he doesn't feel alive, if something bad happened to him, he can just regenerate or upload a back up of his memory into his body. Not helped by the fact he seems to be the only one of his specific kind.

Just a dump of possible design ideas for siren!Soundwave in yami-chunn’s mythical creatures au that I want to draw later:

•has 8 limbs 6 of which are tentacles; 2 squid-like appendages beneath his arms, 4 positioned along his spine; captures and consumes food through lamprey-like mouths on these 4 tentacles •biolights; biolights everywhere •gills are structured like a manta ray’s along the upper torso •Lobster!Laserbeak because why not
