If you know the plot of The Crow you'd see why. (Spoiler: Local man came back from the dead to avenge his wife's murder) Best revenge story I've seen so far because of the way grief was interwoven into it and never once felt like the writer was rushing it to get back to real actions or forcing a "he needs to move on" linear plot (Spoiler 2: he didn't)

Did I mention I'm shoehorning Doomguy to be a 90s cool and goth icon instead of the 80s American patriot action hero? I think it's just hella interesting that he might look like Rambo and people assumed he'd act or speak in a certain way that fits the macho caricature but really he sees himself as anti-establishment and anti everything plus he has this constant world-weariness and cynicism in him. He's still a marine and loved the code of honour. But other than the idea that he would become more than just himself and life will finally have a purpose after he became a marine? Nah.

ADN is aesthetically stuck in the goth period so Carnelian is also goth... as in OG goth. Ancient Babylonian warriors paint their nails black and curl their hair before going to war. Fly really could just fit right in with the space goth knights.

If they were both in high school however, Carnelian would be the star quarterback everyone loved/loved to hate. Or he plays ice hockey and is the center forward. I love a sports jock x goth guitarist high school au of them.

please do a tut on your artwork omgggggg i wanna learn how to draw as good as you your artwork is so domestic and CUTE

i don't think i'll ever do a tutorial sorry, buti think for me it's crucial to browse the archives until i find sth i really want to do, don't settle for the first appealing ref you see, hone your vision and search for subjects that appeal to you

i also don't care much about details or working super clean, i don't need my art to look that commercial, i think it's charming to keep bits and pieces of your illustrations rough, it's a skill to know which aspects you can keep rough/suggestive and which ones you should put more effort into/make focal, i think a balance between suggestive lines/shapes and more expressive parts can make an illustration feel dynamic

i also love textures, which is why i always use perlin noise & textured brushes (@robogart has great brush packs)

idk what else to say, i think art looks cute and dynamic if your process is dynamic, don't focus too hard on making it look polished, play around with textures, messiness, details or lack thereof, all of that creates a fun tension
