As an art museum-obsessed ten-year-old, I had a bold vision for making museums dimmer, more cavernous, and more disorienting. I still believe that with enough persistence, I can realize my dream of an art museum that 90 percent of the public will find baffling and sensorially oppressive, but where one undiagnosed autistic kid will feel completely at home.
