Just a little progress report! The first one is Acorn Fur, and was the first warrior cat I drew for this blog. The second is just a random cat I drew last night (I think she’s going to be Pigeonmercy because that name haunts me in a good way).

I don’t hate the first one. She’s recognizably a cat, which I think is a win lol. But I’m also really proud of how I’ve improved! I think the second drawing is cleaner, I’ve got better proportions, and the backgrounds are more solid. (I’m also using a smaller brush size for the outline and figured out how to use a stabilizer lol. Getting more familiar with your tools is good!)

I think when you’re improving a little at a time, it can be discouraging because you aren’t always seeing the improvements as they occur. It’s nice to look back and do a side by side comparison so you can really see them! Now I’m invigorated and excited to keep improving!

I've been working more on drawing hands, which is neat, feeling like I'm getting more of a hang on how they function, kinda having issues with general anatomy/fullbody though.
