Here’s how I remember complimentary colors because I’m a dingus.
Okay so in video games in particular, it seems siblings or people who are basically siblings have complimentary color schemes.
So Red and Green are complimentary colors because Mario wears red and Luigi wears green.
Yellow and Purple are complimentary colors because Wario wears Yellow and Waluigi wears Purple.
Blue and Orange are complimentary because Sans wears blue and Papyrus wears orange.
I remember primary colors by thinking “Who’s more popular?” this goes for in an out of canon. So Wario is more popular just because he has more games and Waluigi has none, so Yellow is Primary.
Mario is more popular than Luigi because people in canon barely know who Luigi is. So Red is Primary.
In fanon and canon Sans is more popular because Papyrus isn’t liked as much as him by fans and people in Snowdin know Sans more because Papyrus is referred to as “the tall one” so Blue is Primary.
Hope this may have helped someone. idk it’s just how I like to remember this stuff.
Does anyone have any resources for, like, putting characters with noticeable height differences in different positions? I can look at the height difference all day long but that doesn’t help me when they’re in positions other than “standing next to each other” 😭
Godskin as material seem to be processed into 2 forms - Smooth, soft, reflective (Hoods, Noble's suit). But also a rougher, thicker, more chart looking stuff (Apostle garb).
: ) ))))
god im so depressed
Can you tell my what you used to color your shou sketch? It looks so good I'm trying to find something I can use. I love your art and you're really nice :)
I used watercolor! You can use any brand really, even the cheaper kid's sets. Just takes some testing and mixing to get some nice colors. Ah, if you use them though, make sure you have good paper! Doesn’t have to be watercolor specifically, just something durable so the paper doesn’t pill up or tear. And thank you so much, I’m glad you enjoy my art! You’re also very nice too anon~ ^^
