to be objective when being victim to anon is so much easier.

but yea??? style copying/inspiring can be a bfd?? like some artists are totally cool with it some?? are not??
and while?? you can be upset for someone for saying “ur style looks like this” by saying you were “inspired by it” and say how the anon was trying to smear you basically for being “inspired” but like??
?? if it’s similar enough like for ppl to recognize/mistake for then it’s like you kinda have to admit... that there’s connective tissue like it looks similar.
while some ppl think it’s not a crime, others think it’s not cool.
idk,,, it just rubbed me the wrong way instead of saying “yes i was inspired and the style does look similar (which the original artist was cool with)”
the copier was like “.....greytone/////// comic pacing/////....(literally anything BUT saying they were inspired by the “style” of the art)”
