First thing I want to make clear this is not a witch hunt, nor permission to harass anyone. This is just a warning.https://delaneysart.tumblr.com/ has been an art thief for about 7 years She is active in the fandom and has already ripped off other artists to gain fame.

She is not a fan of the show and hasn’t even seen it. She isn’t doing any flavour-of-the-month stuff or Patreon requests. She's just out here to rob clicks from people who are in the fandom and lie. This is not a gatekeep it's just a fact, she's lying.

Art theft on another level...

I usually try to keep this account `only Art` but sometimes things just happen, you know. 

I think all the information is on those pictures but for those that don’t want to read all of it.  Basically there is a person on amino that is using my name and is stealing my art and is posting it. Smart because they can just take my art “without any worries”... but what they also do, is, they take someone else’s art and are signing it up with my name.  I could probably just live with it if they only would steal my art, I would just create a special signature with only the sozial media that I have on it but because they are also stealing others artwork, this situation is more complicated.  So it would be very kind of those people that have amino to report them. And to all the young artist and even bigger artist: PLEASE.. PLEASE WATERMARK YOUR ART, EVEN CREATE A SIGNATURE THAT ONLY YOU CAN HAVE AND NO ONE CAN RECREATE. EVEN WHEN THIS POST IS KINDA DEBUNKING OF USING IT, IT REALLY HELPS TO KEEP IT YOUR ART AND IT HELPS PEOPLE TO FIND THE ORIGINAL YOU

All of this fan comic theft in the Miraculous community is pissing me off.  Reuploading someone else’s art without permission is wrong, but knowing that other people are making money through YouTube off of art someone else made for free is disgusting.

Now, whenever I see it, I don’t just flag the user, I try to find the original uploader and PM them with a link to the stolen work.

Giving credit does not excuse not getting consent!

A few things

Many people have pointed out that it’s ‘childish’ on how we’re handling this- and that we should have kept it private. That is something we cannot do- simply because A. We had no way of solving this in private but most importantly:  B. Dealing with it in private would lead to silence on this matter. And Silence is complacency- which none of us stand for. When we all found out that trans people were talked over, dismissed, lied about, and used- we decided to speak up.  When they stolen art was revealed- we decided to take a stand- because artists too well of knowing the struggle of people stealing their art and coming up with bullshit excuses.  Let us be clear: We are not making up things and lying on the spot- not without the evidence to back it up.  And this weekend- M and her crew have been busy, so hang tight. Because we’re about to be busy too.
