Recently, Aggie, one of the participants from the Vancouver Sherlock meet up group, as well as a very dear friend of ours, passed away. Her memorial service is next week, but Vanlock has decided to host a gathering today at Downtown in memory of Aggie. I unfortunately cannot attend, so I'm sending my farewells this way instead. It is very wonderful and thoughtful of you for hosting this meet up, Joyce! I really hope you guys have spent a meaningful time together in downtown! 

To my friends, followers, and the rest of Tumblr, please stay strong, I love you guys.

First try at Fire Alpaca software!

Just a sketch. For a free software, this is pretty dang good. If I have to complain about something 1)the program reads in pixels, so it's hard for me to change numeric values since I see everything in inches. 2) If you're really reliant on brush size sensitivity, this program will drive you nuts. 3) I'm not sure if I like how the lasso overmask thing work (but at least it doesn't lag like hell when you move the selection, unlike in SAI!) 4) Navigator preview takes longer to update.

Sometime ago the weather in Van was shitty as usual and I was feeling shitty while walking on an overcrowded street, and then "Illusion and Dream" came on, I thought, this could work in John's perspective against the world.

In the end I had to pull an all-nighter on this and now it's almost 7am LOL.

To be honest though...this has got to be the creepiest piece I've ever painted, my mind kept submerging deeper and deeper into the concept of 'a snapshot that couldn't possibly exist', and I think it psychologically affected me more than it should rofl ;;; So I just titled it something relatively uncanny and called it a day morning. I'll be allowed to post this up by the end of May, can't wait!
