When I was young I had a time where I had quit art. My parents thought of it as a dead career and wanted me to peruse something more stable. Seeing that I was talented in studying they pushed the typical Asian-parent's dream. A doctor. The "I quit art" arc lasted a month or two. Then I meet more people into art who inspired me. It's been around 10 years since then. I've never felt more happy then when I'm drawing or doodling. I love it so much. I can't imagine not being able to express myself on paper. So to those inspiring artist. Don't quit because someone says it won't earn you a decent living. People have done it before. You can to.
