Alex's living space (protocreed version)

I've been talking about this a lot with the Mutual so here's my take on it

Alex's place is, in a way, a reflection of who he is: everything is too tidy and too perfectly positioned, there are no clothes or objects laying around that could suggest a hobby, the appliances show no sign of use. It's sterile, devoid of humanity, and so is Alex

That sort of changes once Desmond starts coming over, but it's not like you'd expect

-Dude went out of his way to get Des 200 pillows but has One (1) pan (for frying bacon and that's it) -He preemptively bought fake plants before their first hangout because he heard they make the place look more human -The bathroom is filled to the brim with medical supplies but there's exactly one box of tissues -On the same vein, there's weapons and spare clothes in his drawers, neither of which he needs -Trinkets keep spawning around every time Des mentions something he likes -He has hardly any sense of style beside the clean, grey look, fight me

To wrap it up

While his house does look more like a places where people have actually been now, it's still so typically Alex: most the cupboards remain empty save for a few plates and silverware (left behind by the previous owner mind you), the bathroom has a few incredibly soft(due to unuse) towels but no toothbrush, the decoration is either generic or a gift from Desmond, no vacation souvenirs or even unusual objects

Alex's house has become a pampering space, but not a living one
