I like trying to create an immersive world if I can. The thing is, they’re on the surface now and there is so much that’s new. I’m trying to show that they’re not just in a vacuum but really interacting with everything.

Okay, so, full disclosure on Sylvie:

Originally one of the jokes was gonna be that she was ‘held together with duct tape and magic’ but as I had to sit down and develop my magic system more, I realized that I couldn’t make it work. There’s no enchanted or magical objects, because the way I’ve set things up, magic doesn’t really work that way.

So, unfortunately, Sylvie isn’t magic like I wanted her to be. :’(
