Seaside – retreat from the everyday storms in a safe and constant calmness that I found in each grain of the sand...as a response to the current political, environmental and economic uncertainty of today. Residing in the coastal resort town of Liepaja, she explored the fragile structure of mental ecology (Guattari 1989) and found an individual self-form as an expression for well-being during the times of change. Self-poem as an immersive audio-work shows the line between being passive and active (meditation and constant process of thinking) for self-sustainability, mental exercise and retreat. -
