Though I love my monsters and scaly friends, sometimes it's smart to take a step back and go for a different angle. This simple line technique was something I did a lot of back in 2017, and I really enjoyed doing it again. Figuring out which hard lines felt "needed" and "right" versus what wasn't necessary is a fun challenge. Just barely made it! Still on track. Sea serpents hold a special place in my heart, namely because I love GIANT monsters, and they're some of the first giant beasts mankind fantasized about. They're usually in such powerful, active poses, but what about other, sadder poses? They're just as large as whales, so they would surely be just as susceptible to beaching, one might imagine. Still playing catch up! Dinosaurs have captured my imagination since I was a child. My Mum, bless her heart, had to pronounce far too many Latin names to a spellbound six year old.
