This year was a mixed bag for me artistically. A negative environment and many factors outside my control took me away from my work and had difficulty to create especially the first half of the year while I struggled with depression. I understand that it’s really hard for all of us to make sense of the world right now. But we will stay passionate about the things we love, and march on. I’d like to thank you for every each and one of you for the support, art purchases, comments, love, likes, and for following what I do here. It means the world. So recently I was feeling down about myself and about my drawings, because I can’t even call them art. I have seen many great artist out there who’s works are amazing! However I understood that I never will be like them... just because I am me and I am different. All my life I was taught drawing and art and I love it but I never wanted to be a full time artist (like those amazing ones) I have different dreams. I looked at many people and creators and I noticed that their work all looked the same (don’t get me wrong, they are all talented and their work is beautiful) but this just doesn’t work for me. I can’t draw in one colour theme, or in one stile, or post amazingly polished artworks every week! Why? Because I don’t JUST draw. I CREATE. I create worlds and ideas. They change quickly and I can’t always keep up with them. I am giving up the idea of being great at drawing. Firstly because I love making videos more and secondly, drawing is just a means of visualising my ideas. Whether it’s for a video or for a 3D model, or jewellery or whatever it is that I want to make. Drawing is a tool I use when I can’t write it out. So I got a confession to make: I love stories and I love telling them. I posted it in it's original form a heart. Then I hung it on the wall and it started to oooooze dripping my heart down the canvas.👇🤔💔 So I then I attempted to fix it but that was a no-go. Soo I had to scrape it.The edges remain the original pour using ouring medium. I blacked out the center we're it was and added this Moon and sky. #WIP Lesson of the day make sure you really tip the canvas and if you don't get the cells you want..... do not will nilly start thowing more paint on the canvas.
