I have been collecting artist names who are POC & have POC in their portfolios this year. I love the variety & creativity in many of these artists I've found through #drawingwhileblack via IG & Twitter. That hashtag is my inspiration to help bring artists to the forefront who are often dismissed for their ethnicity and/or the subject matter in their portfolios (POC, plus-size, LGBTQ, etc). . My goal is to see this list fall into the right studio hands. Companies looking for something new & creative.
