Idea for a Buried Artefact : an old fashioned Victorian corset.
One that if you try to put it on, will crush you, restricting your breathing with an intense feeling of claustrophobia. You feel like you're dying, there, with this pressure on your ribs and tightness in your chest, so high that you might vomit your organs to get just a little bit of space in your ribcage.
Alternatively, the corset evolved. Now its a binder.
